In areas of extreme environmental conditions and high electrical stress, Anti-tracking tubing protects Cable insulation & or substrates from erosion caused by leakage current. The anti tracking sealant provides a moisture proof environmental seal to the substrate.
The tubing is normally used in Cable Terminations for voltages > 1 kV.
It is available in various sizes, generally expanded in the ratio 3:1 to make it range taking.
